BEHIND THE SCENES

my longtime friend and fashion designer Curtis Cassel of Queera agreed to design and create the main dance piece for Cyborg - when Brittan asked for a spandex crystal jumpsuit + a detachable skirt piece for an androgynous transformation dance costume I knew I had to ask Curtis who I also thought would be a perfect “body double” since they appeared to be the same size & therefore would need next to no fittings, since Curtis was in NYC & things were just opening up after lockdown we communicated through zoom with everyone apart from Brittan’s in person fitting, I designed and constructed the headpiece from upcycled CDs & altered a pair of boots
